As part of the 2022-2023 STAAR Redesign, Crowley ISD engaged stakeholders in a collaborative process to develop a district action plan to address these changes.
As part of the action plan, the implementation of the "Talk. Read. Talk. Write." lesson structure and the rollout of new math curriculum (grades K-Algebra II) were key components of our approach to the redesigned STAAR test.
Additionally, dedicated days in the academic calendar for long-range planning were created to support teachers in the planning necessary to implement our action plan strategies.
