Summary: In response to the prolific nature of the COVID-19 virus within our community, the District would like to present a resolution to provide an option within the current Sick Leave Bank that addresses an employee's use of personal leave related to COVID-related illnesses during the 2021-2022 contract year.
Budgetary Impact: Dependent upon number of participants in the sick leave bank and number of substitutes required for COVID-related illnesses
Recommendation: Recommend the approval of the Resolution which provides an option within the current Sick Leave Bank to further address an employee's use of personal leave for COVID-related illnesses during the 2021-2022 contract year.
