Summary: CISD has been studying the step schedule in order to recruit and retain qualified teachers. A 3.2% raise will improve our salary comparison to the top in Tarrant County in several areas by increasing CISD starting teacher salary to $60,010 and CISD average salary to $64,789.
Budgetary Impact: $3,300,000
Recommendation: Recommend approval of the 2022-2023 teacher salaries which includes a minimum 3.2% raise and targeted step adjustments as presented.
