Summary:
|
Crowley ISD advertised a furniture RFP for the New Central Administration and New Sports Complex. CISD evaluation committee consists of central administration staff from both the current Central Administration Bldg. and CISD Maintenance Department.
The District received 7 responses to the RFP. We broke this RFP down by an administration building total package (which includes furniture, delivery and set-up) and the sports complex total package (package (which includes furniture, delivery and set-up).
The period of performance will be from date of award through June 30, 2022, with the option to renew for two (2) additional years in one-year increments at the sole discretion of the school district.
After the committee thoroughly evaluated the RFP according to the evaluation criteria, two vendors were short listed and selected for showroom visits based on the most advantageous pricing and availability to meet the district’s needs. Those two vendors were Business Interiors and WRG, LLC.
The evaluation committee had the opportunity to visit the Business Interiors showroom on 12-9-2021. The evaluation committee also completed Zoom meetings with the two short listed vendors to have any questions answered prior to making a final decision on the recommendation.

Budgetary Impact:

The Central Administration Furniture package total that includes furniture, delivery and set-up with WRG, LLC. is approx. $458,000. The Sports Complex Furniture package total that includes furniture, delivery and set-up with Business Interiors is approx. $321,000.
