Summary:

The District currently contracts with Tarrant County Tax Office to collect Ad Valorem taxes on behalf of Crowley ISD. The Tax Office is offering a three-year contract, as a convenience, instead of the annual renewal. The renewal letter and contract are attached for the Board's review.

Budgetary Impact:
|
Tarrant County Tax Office commission rate will remain the same at $.98 per account for the entire contract term, tax years 2022-2024. This continues to be the lowest collection fee of any urban county in Texas. The Tax Office is continuing the out-of-county accounts at $2.00 per account.
