Summary:
|
The FAA is providing the Aviation Workforce Development Grants to eligible grantees to target and recruit congressionally defined populations into programs that will successfully prepare high school students to serve the anticipated growing future demands of the United States aviation industry. In order to meet these long-term requirements, the FAA has established measures, goals and objectives to define the level of performance and to establish performance indicators to be used in measuring relevant outputs and outcomes for this grants Program.
The project will create and deliver curriculum designed to provide high school students with aviation education in order to become aircraft pilots, aerospace engineers, or unmanned aircraft systems operators and support the professional development of teachers through curriculum development and instructional preparation.
