Summary: Esports is an extracurricular activity that involves competitive video gaming in a team environment as a path for building science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) and social-emotional skills while increasing student engagement and opportunities for student inclusion.

Crowley ISD currently has 56 students who compete in Esports. The team of Jevan Atkins (CHS), Bilal Pearson (NCHS), Xzavier Frye (NCHS), and Marquis Olvera (CH9) advanced to the final four at the Texas Esports League Championship, beating out 54 other teams across the state. The students and their sponsors, Casey Smith and Bradley Parker, will be recognized for their accomplishments.
