Summary:
|
The Crowley ISD Student Dress Codes are reviewed, modified and approved annually. The district's dress codes consist of a Standards of Student Dress (PK-8) and a Student Dress Code (9-12).
The dress codes are align with the school level philosophies for safety, school culture and climate, and building positive relationships with students.
Each year there have been minor revisions made to the dress codes to improve and reinforce stakeholder support, with the emphasis on increased student compliance.
There is a statement included in both drafts acknowledging any required dress for specialized programs.
The respective student dress codes are being reviewed at the campus level. Drafts for both of the 2019-20 Standards of Student Dress (PK-8) and the 2018-19 Student Dress Code (9-12) will be presented for your review and approval.
