Summary:
|
The current provider of contracted Custodial Services for Crowley ISD is American Building Maintenance Co. (ABM). The current contract expires on June 30, 2021.
As such, CISD advertised a new Request for Proposal (RFP) for these services. The evaluation of proposals received through the RFP process has now been completed by the Custodial Service RFP Selection Committee, which consisted of several members of CISD Central Administration and several campus principals.
RFP-005-2021-2023 for Custodial Services period of performance will be from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023, with an option to renew for three (3) additional years, in one-year increments, at the sole discretion of the school district.
After thoroughly evaluating each proposal, the Selection Committee is making a recommendation to retain the services of American Building Maintenance Co. (ABM).
Negotiated improvements include: wage rate increases for all identified Day and Night Lead contracted custodial staff, and new uniforms for ABM custodial staff.

Budgetary Impact:

The budgetary impact for FY 2021-22 is $3,745,904. The budgeted cost for these services for the current year, FY 2020-21, was $3,520,584.
