Crowley ISD’s current Refuse Service Provider is Republic Services of Fort Worth, Texas. According to the RFP, the second (2nd) optional year will expire on 6-30-2023. The district has elected to exercise the third (3rd) and final optional year which will be from 7-1-2023 to 6-30-2024. A new bid will be advertised next year.

Budgetary Impact:

Year to Date (FY 2022-2023) expenditures with Republic Services of Fort Worth, Texas is $434,836.89.
For the third (3rd) and final optional year, the renewal expenditure for refuse and recycle services with Republic Services will be approximately $596,000. The breakdown as presented would be Recycle- $9,123.17 per month x 12 months= $109.478.04. Refuse- $40,491.96 per month x 12 months= $485,903.52. Please note Extra hauls, service changes and “on call” large containers will have an effect on the exact numbers. The amounts provided includes the refuse and recycle services districtwide.
