Cadet Colonel Amiya White of the NCHS Panther Battalion has been selected to receive the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement, the highest JROTC award.
The Legion of Valor is given to an outstanding cadet for military, academic, leadership and extracurricular excellence. To be considered for this honor, Cadets must:
-Must rank in the top 25% of their high school and JROTC Class;
-Have demonstrated outstanding military leadership qualities.
The Legion of Valor of the United States is an organization composed of Medal of Honor, Distinguished Service Cross, Navy Cross, and Air Force Cross Award Recipients.
Board President Dr. Mia Hall and a representative from the Legion of Valor will present Amiya with her award during this meeting.
