Crowley ISD celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 with special lessons, activities and performances across the District.
The annual Hispanic Heritage Quiz Bowl and Art Show was held Saturday, Oct. 15 at North Crowley High School.
The Quiz Bowl winners include:
Elementary English Division: Jackie Carden Elementary School - Students Holy Mawi, Teeba Alkhayyat, ZaRyah Parker, Liyah Clayton and James Woodard
Elementary Spanish Division: Oakmont Elementary - Students Karla Quintana, Valeria Marulanda, Juan Garcia and Eimily Guzman Rolon
Secondary Division: Crowley Collegiate Academy – Students Christian Rodriguez, Isis De Dios, Valeria Gonzalez, Karla Vazquez and Sherlyn Renteria
The Art Show winners include:
Kindergarten/1st Grade: Chloe Bell, June W. Davis Elementary
2nd/3rd Grade: Zoey Unokwah, June W. Davis Elementary
4th/5th Grade: Alaine Hill, Dallas Park Elementary
