Crowley ISD’s currently has a total of 15 firms awarded to the RFQ that will end on 6-30-2022. A new RFQ for External Legal Counsel Services was advertised and has been evaluated and ranked by Central Administration Staff. The new RFQ will start on 7-1-2022. There was a total of 13 firms that submitted to and was ranked for this RFQ.
It is the intent to award all responsive firms because each firm can provide Crowley ISD with legal service that is best advantageous to the district according to their expertise. This RFQ will be utilized on an as needed basis of the district. Most firms also provide free or for a small fee, training regarding updated laws to Board and Administrative staff. List of firms are attached for Board review.

Budgetary Impact:

The amount of expenditure will be determined by the selected firm’s hourly price schedule that was submitted within their RFQ response.
