The Chisholm Trail Education Foundation for Crowley ISD is awarding innovative teaching grants to educators and staff across the district. Foundation President Bonnie Barksdale will announce the 11 grants that total almost $23,000. 1. Arts Integration: The Key to Success in the amount of $990.28 to David L. Walker Elementary 2. Breakout to Success in the amount of $655 to Crowley 9th Grade Campus 3. Campus Resource Center known as Bridging the Gap in the amount of $1,039 to Crowley 9th Grade Campus 4. CISD Battle of the Books to the CISD district librarians in the amount of $1,300 5. Crowley ISD Panther Olympics 2022 in the amount of $5,000 6. Develop 21st Century Skills with Sphero Robots in the amount of $3,328.98 to Oakmont Elementary 7. Husky Readers in the amount of $1,720 to Mary Harris Elementary 8. Campus Resource Center known as Panther Emporium in the amount of $2,578.50 at North Crowley High School 9. Campus Resource Center known as Ram Emporium in the amount of $2,508.50 at Richard Allie Middle School 10. Robo Warriors in the amount of $1,108.79 to David L. Walker Elementary 11. Warrior Workshop in the amount of $1,800 to David L. Walker Elementary The Foundation will also be "re-awarding" about $5,000 in grants that were not able to be used last school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
