The Crowley High School Mighty Eagle Band will be recognized for its fall accomplishments:
At the CISD/US Bands competition held at the new CISD Multi-Purpose Stadium, the band earned:
-Best in Class II Individual Music
-Best in Class II Ensemble Music
-Best in Class II Visual
-Best in Class II Visual Effect
-Best in Class II Percussion
-Best in Class II overall
The CHS band earned an overall rating of "Excellent" at the UIL Region 30 marching competition.
The CHS Mighty Eagle Band will be represented by:
-Band captains Ally O'Heren and Elizabeth Tran
-Colorguard captain Jose Rodriguez
-Drum majors Taylor Burney, Caroline Madrid, and Aidan Tran
The band is looking forward to competing this spring in Winterguard, Indoor Drumline, UIL Solo and Ensemble, and UIL Concert. The Mighty Eagle Band will travel to Florida in April to participate in a Disney musical workshop.
The Mighty Eagle Band invites everyone to their upcoming concert on Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. in the CHS auditorium.
