Crowley ISD is a member of The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative (BuyBoard). The Cooperative helps school districts and other government entities streamline the procurement process and increase our purchasing power. Each year, the Cooperative issues rebates to its members proportional to the amount of their purchases on the BuyBoard.
Since 2006, The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative has rebated a total of almost $70 million to members. The Cooperative is endorsed by the Texas Association of Counties, Texas Municipal League, Texas Association of School Administrators, and Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). The Cooperative is also a Strategic Partner with the Texas Association of School Business Officials.
Crowley ISD has received a rebate check of $74,346.95 for the 2019-20 fiscal year as a result of the district’s purchases made through the Cooperative. In the last year, Crowley ISD has used the BuyBoard to purchase a variety of products, including equipment, furniture, supplies and miscellaneous contracted services.
