Summary:
|
House Bill (HB3) established an optional local teacher designation system and the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) that are dedicated to recruiting, rewarding, and retaining effective teachers in all schools, with particular emphasis on high-need schools. CISD plans to submit an application to TEA this spring to implement a local teacher designation system. An overview of the TIA will be presented to Trustees.
