Crowley ISD is a member of The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative (BuyBoard). The Cooperative helps school districts and other government entities streamline the procurement process and increase our purchasing power.
Each year, the Cooperative issues rebates to its members proportional to the amount of their purchases on the BuyBoard. The district allows the cooperative to collect a vendor fee up to 2% of the purchase price paid and those fees are then provided as a rebate to the district. In order to comply with TEC 44.0331, the district must report the annual rebate amount to the Board.
Crowley ISD has received a rebate check of $64,271.00 for the 2020-21 fiscal year as a result of the district’s purchases made through the Cooperative.
In the last year, CISD has used the BuyBoard to purchase a variety of products, including services, supplies and equipment.
