The SciSTEM Fair was held Saturday, April 9 as a collaboration between the Elementary Science Department and the STEM Plus team. This was a reinvigoration of the classic Science Fair with an emphasis on the skills and process known to engineering that are focused on through STEM.
The goal was to provide our elementary students with exposure and experience to this process and give them a beyond classroom platform to communicate their work. The hope is to prepare students to compete in the Regional Science and Engineering Fair hosted by UTA for grades 6-12.
First place winners in each category will be announced, along with the two district winners from Sycamore and Dallas Park elementary schools who tied with perfect scores. |
