Summary:
In light of the competitive nature for recruitment and retention in our surrounding area, the District team would like to present consideration of increasing the hourly wages of our substitute teachers by $10/day at each of the current levels and adding a pay rate of $125/day for Retired Teachers.  
Budgetary Impact:
Dependent upon teacher absences and substitute fill rate  
Recommendation
Recommend approval of increasing the hourly wages for substitute teachers by $10/day to include an:

-$80/day starting rate
-$90/day with a Degree
-$95/day with a Certification
-$100/day at "Hard to Fill" positions
-$125/day for Retired Teachers
